SFR and RIM Present the BlackBerry Bold in France
Leveraging the power of the SFR 3G+ network, the BlackBerry Bold smartphone offers an unparalleled mobile experience to SFR customers
Paris, France and Waterloo, On., Canada – SFR and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone will be available from mid-September for SFR customers in France. This is the first BlackBerry® smartphone to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world and comes with integrated GPS and Wi-Fi®.
With its premium design and unprecedented performance, the BlackBerry Bold is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding user and is the perfect choice for business professionals and power users alike. It comes with the renowned BlackBerry productivity applications, including phone, email, messaging, organizer and browser, and works with thousands of other mobile business and lifestyle applications. In addition to its powerful communications capabilities, the BlackBerry Bold includes rich multimedia features, making it easier than ever to stay connected, productive and entertained while on the go.
Beginning in mid-September, the BlackBerry Bold will be available in all SFR stores from 169 euros (not including taxes) for corporate customers and from 199 euros for SFR consumer customers.
