Indosat Introduces "BlackBerry on Demand" Daily
Jakarta, Indonesia - Indosat today announced the launch of its newest prepaid plan for BlackBerry® smartphone users -- “BlackBerry® On Demand” Daily -- to complete its host of data plans for BlackBerry Internet® Service, including “BlackBerry On Demand” Weekly, “BlackBerry On Demand” Monthly, “BlackBerry On Demand” Monthly Bonus, BlackBerry Matrix Regular and BlackBerry Mail and Chatting.
“BlackBerry On Demand” Daily is a prepaid plan for BlackBerry Internet Service based on the daily consumption of data. Customers can connect with friends, family and colleagues through instant messaging applications like BlackBerry® Messenger and Yahoo! ® Messenger and access up to 10 supported email accounts such as Yahoo! or Gmail™ and download attachments. Customers can also upload photos or update their status on social networking sites like Facebook® and MySpace or browse the Internet from their BlackBerry smartphones.
“BlackBerry On Demand” Daily is suitable for customers who are looking for a cost-effective option for service. Customers can simply send the text message Harian to 889, and their BlackBerry service will be activated for the day.
“The growing popularity of the BlackBerry solution in Indonesia, especially among the younger generation, prompted us to launch 'BlackBerry On Demand' Daily. This is an ideal option for them because they can manage their telecommunication budget by activating the BlackBerry service as needed on a daily basis for only Rp. 6,000 per day,” said Guntur S. Valid till December 31, 2009, the “BlackBerry on Demand” Daily prepaid plan is available at the competitive price of Rp.6000 per day, which includes unlimited Internet browsing and access to supported email and IM services. Additional WAP browsing via GPRS will be charged at only Rp.1/KB.
With the new “BlackBerry on Demand” Daily, Indosat now offers a complete suite of prepaid plans for BlackBerry services that cater to the different needs of Indonesian customers.
